Project RIFT documents unusual, unclassified, and otherwise exceptional floral traits. We collect observations. We preserve evidence. We pursue patterns. We do not assume causes.

Project RIFT finds the growers who are already staring at an unusual flower and offers to stare at it with them—carefully, respectfully, and over time.
We found an empty institutional space, moved a desk into it, and we’ll see if anyone stops us.
